Bubblegum Music was a short lived musical phenomenon that never went away. Today's episode mostly focuses on the hey day from around 1968 - 1974. Initially marketed to kids (the Saturday Morning Cartoon generation) the early Bubblegum Music was fun, not overly complicated, and an inspiration to some of the first wave of punk bands like The Ramones. Thanks for listening!
